This client contacted us to replace the carpet throughout their house, since the existing carpet was now several years old. After an initial consultation and survey, we recommended a heavy duty, 100% Polypropylene carpet on an ultra-fresh anti-microbial underlay, as they have grandchildren visiting regularly.The client removed all the old carpets prior to our starting work as they had floorboards which needed re-securing. We then installed new plywood to provide a perfect finish over the uneven floorboards.  Once complete we installed new aluminium door bars, grippers and underlay to all areas.

The carpet, Victoria Heartland 47oz, was then installed to all areas and vacuumed ready for the customer to start using their rooms straight away. We also added some Stairrods Easybind to an offcut of carpet to create a unique, custom door mat for them.

For all our installations we tape the underlay joins to prevent dust migration. We also vacuum the newly fitted carpet(s) upon completion. The preparation and installation work followed all relevant manufacturers guidelines and British Standards.
